Simmons Island Park, 50th Street and 4th Avenue

Step back in time when Native Americans and fur traders gathered to exchange goods and services and to celebrate. More than 350 reenactors in 150 camps will be encamped on Simmons Island. Talk with them about what life was like during the fur-trading era. See craft and trades demonstrations throughout the camp. Horse drawn wagon provides a shuttle from the parking area. Play period games, try daily chores of the 1800s and make crafts at the Family Activity area. The event is free and open to the public.
