Chief of Police

Hello, I am Patrick Patton, Chief of Police for the Kenosha Police Department.  Located on the shores of Lake Michigan in the southeast corner of Wisconsin, Kenosha is a wonderful place to live, work and recreate.  We have a solid economic base, a diverse offering of business and industry, and a wonderful creative arts community.

As the third largest municipal police department in the state, the Kenosha Police Department prides itself on providing excellent service and keeping its residents and visitors safe.  The department teams up with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement agencies for joint specialized units such as the SWAT team and Hazardous Device Squad.  Located in the Public Safety Building, at 1000 55th Street, the department is in close proximity to Kenosha’s active downtown area.

As Chief, I have the honor and privilege of leading this fine police department, where collaboration, cooperation and the importance of community are at the heart of everything we do.  I hope you find our website informative and, whether visiting or making your home here, I hope you find Kenosha a welcoming and safe place to be.
