EVENT CATEGORY: Public EventsExperience the life and time period of the American Revolution by attending "Rebels and Redcoats: A Revolutionary Experience" at Simmons Island Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 13th and 14th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Spectators will get an opportunity to interact with costumed 18th-century reenactors, observe the happenings of a period military camp, see period food preparations, and watch a battle demonstration of tactics and challenges of warfare during the time of the American Revolution.
