More than 10,000 spectators line the two-mile route, which begins at 22nd Avenue and 63rd Street in the Uptown district.

The Mad Bomber pyrotechnics company promises another spectacular show on July 4 as the Festival Foods Fireworks light up the sky over the lakefront. Plan to arrive early in the day to stake out a premium spot with your blanket or lawn chairs. Fireworks are staged at Celebration Place east of the public museums on First Avenue. Pack a picnic or choose from a selection of hot, fresh food from local vendors. Admission is FREE.
EVENT CATEGORY: Public EventsSource 1 DJs get the music started, with a limbo contest, hula-hooping and family-friendly music. The Oscillators take the stage from 7-9 p.m. with a peformance of progressive and alternative folk, lots of harmony and event a dose of hip-hop. The Festival Foods Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. highlight the evening's entertainment. Kenosha News joins Kenosha County and the City of Kenosha in providing major support to present the perfomrances at the bandshell.
