44th Annual Kenosha YMCA Firecracker Run/Walk starts and finishes in Library Park. The course goes down 3rd avenue, and turns around on 2nd to head back to Library Park.

The City kicks off the Independence Day celebration with the annual Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade, presented by Snap-on. Look for colorful floats, marching bands and a lot of community spirit with a variety of entertainment along the nearly two-mile route.

The Kenosha Pops will kick off the entertainment in the afternoon, followed by a performance by Yesterday's Children, leading up to the Festival Foods Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The concerts are free and open to the public, presented by the City of Kenosha and Musicians Assisting Advancing Music.
