The Christmas tree lighting ceremony kicks off the holiday season as part of the "Lightin' Up Kenosha" celebration downtown. Join us for a holiday program beginning at 4 p.m., with an opportunity to visit with the Frost Queen and Ice Princess. Santa is scheduled to arrive to help Mayor Antaramian light the city Christmas tree at 5 p.m. This free family program is sure to put you in the holiday mood.
The streetcar is free of charge from 4-9 p.m. New this year: the rubber tire trolley will provide free rides from 4-9 p.m. on a north-south roupe to include visiting with Mrs. Claus at Actor's Craft.

Join Santa and the Cutting Edge Figure Skating Club for some winter fun on the city's new ice rink at Veterans Memorial Park outside City Hall, 625 52nd St. The Buzz Cafe will host a pop-up hot chocolate stand with refreshments for sale from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Santa is expected to arrive at the rink at 12 noon, and will join people on the ice. At 1 p.m., members of the Cutting Edge Figure Skating Club will show their skills and provide tips for new skaters. Look for Mrs. Claus starting at 1 p.m., with a little treat for everyone. Free admission to the ice rink, but you will need to bring your own skates. Special thanks to Actor's Craft in downtown Kenosha and Dr. Ray Adamczyk for assisting with the event.
