Mission Statement

The mission of the Kenosha Fire Department Training Division is to develop and maintain job skills of the Department’s firefighters and to provide training to new fire recruits.

As public demands on the Fire Department increase, training must be focused on and geared to meet these demands. Therefore, efficient and effective training programs benefit not only members of this Department, but also the citizens of Kenosha.

TRAINING DIVISION
Division Overview
The Training and Safety Division is responsible for the on-going training and implementation of safety standards of all firefighters for in-service companies. The training environment is dynamic as numerous requirements continue to be mandated in emergency services by federal and state regulatory agencies. The Training and Safety Division strives to accomplish our mission delivering quality training and safety programs in a cost effective manner to comply with established laws, regulations and standards. The Division is staffed by one Division Chief.
